Forever Beauty (ABN 94 860 418 843), 2/99-101 Aerodrome Road, Maroochydore QLD 4558, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We only collect health information with your consent and only where it is needed to provide a treatment safely. You can deal with us without giving your name for general enquiries, but we need contact details to book an appointment.

We will not use your information for marketing unless you have agreed, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell your personal information.
3. Website bookings and spam protection
Appointment requests are stored in a private database on our website, not on public pages. Contact form messages are emailed to us and are not stored on the website. To stop spam we keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a short time; we do not store your actual IP address.
4. WhatsApp
If you tap a WhatsApp button on our website, the chat opens in WhatsApp, a service run by Meta Platforms. Your messages are then handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy as well as this one. Please don’t send sensitive health details over chat unless you are comfortable doing so; you can tell us in person instead.
5. How long we keep it
Completed and cancelled appointment records are deleted automatically after 24 months. Treatment and health notes are kept only as long as needed to care for you and to meet legal requirements. Photos are removed when you withdraw permission.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed to run the salon or where the law requires it:
- our website host and email provider, which store data on our behalf. Our website host is located in [host country]
- Google, if you view the map on our Contact page
- Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram), if you contact us through those services
- authorities, where required by law
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.
7. Cookies and website data
Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, plus temporary browser storage to remember small choices, such as closing the announcement bar. If we add website analytics in the future, we will update this policy. Embedded Google Maps may set Google’s own cookies.
8. Keeping it secure
We use a secure (HTTPS) website, password-protected access limited to salon staff, and automatic deletion of old booking records. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
9. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us (section 11). We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. If we can’t agree to a request, we will explain why.
10. Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
